When doing my e-fan setup on the two-tone, I wanted a reliable ignition on source without hacking into the wiring. The solution...
On the wiper motor there is a connection of a wire with a female spade connector, this connects to the male spade on the plug. I simply interrupt this connection and add in a new wire to supply 12V+ to my fan controller when ignition is on.
This works great for supplying 12V+ to a relay or any other low current drawing device. Do not try to power your e-fans with this wire as it will cause too much draw and will surely blow a fuse.
