And finally if you have made it this far, this is currently where we are at, more drifting and driving, and eventually this will happen

As much as everyone loves the fact that i am ka-t, i have picked up a full pull out ls1 out of a 01 ss, so in the next few months, you will begin to see progress on building that up for the next motor for the car. Until then i am just biding my time until the next events to really finish shaking the car down and figuring out what else if anything really needs to be addressed at this time. So fret not, i will be running the ka-t for quite awhile longer, and wont pull it out until i absolutely have to. Not really trying to bring the car back down right after i got it all done, so this will serve as a stage 2 iteration later down the road.

What's your power goal with the LS1?

Looking mild like 380 to 400 for now so pretty much a refresh of the stock with some upgraded parts like timing chain, oil pump, and a nice amount of head work should help get it there.

Very nice. I wish KAs had more intake options.

yeah if i had to do it all again, i think i would've skipped out on the Xcessive manifold since it was a bit of a headache when i first got it, from coolant bypass lines not fitting and having sealing issues with it. The gains past 4500 rpm are great, but it really changed how the powerband feels with the short runners.

Yeah. I want medium length runner ITBs and a fully balanced crank. Too bad I could drop a V8 in for that kind of money.

Cool car, Always liked this thing. Interesting to hear that you are going LS with it. Should be a pretty big change going from a KA-T setup.

Are you planning on selling the KA-T build or going to keep it around?

For right now i am going to keep the ka-t around until i finish up building the ls1. As far as updates, i am still waiting on my 326 power wing, and taking it out on the 2nd for another shakedown at a local drift day. I've been playing with alignment angles a ton so i'm interested to see how the car handles with the changes i've made.
